The sweater is made using a hybrid construction and starts with a provisional CO at the lower part of the yoke and is worked bottom-up toward the neckline.
The live stitches are then picked up for body and sleeves, and the sweater is finished top-down.
This construction technique allows more freedom for modifications and is easier to adjust, if something is not working out for your body shape.
SIZES:
32 (34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50)
I recommend choosing a size with 2.5-7.5 cm/1-3” positive ease to get a comfortable fit. Sample is worn with 2.5 cm/1” positive ease.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Bust circumference: 86 (90.5, 95.5, 100, 105, 110.5, 115.5, 120, 125, 130.5) cm/33¾ (35½, 37½, 39¼, 41¼, 43½, 45½, 47¼, 49¼, 51¼)“.
NEEDLES:
4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle (100 cm/40”, 80 cm/32” and 60 cm/24”),
4 mm/US 6 circular needle (80 cm/32” and 60 cm/24”),
or a size which gives you the correct gauge.
YARN:
Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (100% Wool; 128 m (140 yards)/50g), shown in colorways Hayloft (MC) and Fossil (CC), or any other worsted weight yarn that gives you the correct gauge.

GAUGE:
19 sts and 26 rows in 10 cm/4” on larger needle in stockinette, worked in the round (blocked).
Row gauge is very important for this design, since it defines the yoke depth and therefore the fit around the shoulders.
