“Kibou” means HOPE in Japanese.

This one-colour Brioche pattern is simple with NO Brioche purl stitch, and is fun for practice anytime, anywhere. Kibou feels like a cup of tea when you are tired of knitting thousands of purl/brp stitches.

Plain color yarns are good for this pattern, while gradient or self-stripping yarns add a bunch of colors to you projects.

Basic Skill Requirement:
knit, purl, brk, sl1yo, brkyobrk, brLsl dec, brk34-psso215 dec (a different way to do br4st dec without using a marker) and Garter Stitch Cast On
brLsl dec : 2-stitch decrease that slants to the left, involving 3 stitches. Slip the first stitch knitwise, brk the following 2 stitches together, pass the slipped stitch over.

The Kibou (Hope) Pattern is the 12th pattern of “Memory 50”.
”Memory 50” is a special project to myself, for myself - to publish 50 patterns before Mid-September 2020.
I know it sounds crazy, but I’ll give it my best shot.
