KiCiKa is a simple and sophisticated drop shoulder pullover with a mock neck, worked from the top down.

It starts with the neckline, and the shoulders are knitted in the round. The body is divided into the front and back and they are worked back and forth to then create arm openings. They are joined again at the underarm and knitted to the hem in the round. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and knitted in the round.

• The front and back are the same, no short rows used.

• You can choose between the 3/4 sleeve version and a sleeveless version.

• The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted to your liking (note that the amount of yarn will change).

The pullover is designed to be worn with at least 20 cm / 7 ¾” positive ease at bust. Please choose a size that is 20 cm / 7 ¾” larger than your actual bust measurement. For example, if your bust is 89 cm / 35”, choose the size 3.

23.5 sts and 34 rows/rnds = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette stitch, after blocking

Fingering weight yarn:

The samples are size 2. 3/4 sleeve version is shown in Camellia Fiber Company “Sylvan” (400 m / 437 yds per 100 g), in color White (3 skeins) and Sleeveless version in Grey (2 skeins).

NEEDLES
US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle, 80 cm / 32” or longer.
US 5 (3.75 mm) needles of your preference style for working small circumferences in the round (for neck and sleeves), such as short circular needle, double-pointed needles or Magic loop.

OTHER MATERIALS
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn.
