The Kida mittens are knitted from the fingers down.
The color of the tip transitions into a fair isle pattern and gradually changes to the color of the main part of the mitten. Increases are made to shape the rounded tip. Then, the thumb gusset is knitted. Stitches are picked up and the thumb wedge is knitted using the Indian method.
Please note: in the technical videos I knit in Continental style.

Socks are designed for fingering weight sock yarn.
You need
color A yarn 70 (75; 80; 85) meters
77 (82; 87; 93) yards
color B yarn 140 (160; 190; 220) meters

The samples are knit out of Superwash yarn by Alize 75% wool, 25% polyamide; 420 metres / 459 yards per 100 g / 3.5 oz.

Needles
2.5 mm / US 1½ for Colorwork and 2 mm / US 0 for Stockinette stitch.
