These hand knitted hats make the perfect Christmas gift for the little ones in your life. The super chunky wool is very warm and gives a comfortable stretch to the hats. Adding a pompom gives a cute finish to your project! The pattern gives instructions for two sizes, 3 – 6 months & 6 – 12 months.

This PDF knitting pattern gives you the instructions you need to create your own baby hat. This pattern uses knit & purl stitches and is knit in the round. I like to knit in the round as that means no seams to sew but, if you prefer to knit flat and then sew up the seam, you can use regular knitting needles just make sure to purl the even rows.

What you will need:

• 100g Cygnet Seriously Chunky Wool – 100g one colour or divided between two colours
• Set 9mm dpn
• Set 10mm dpn
• Large blunt needle for weaving in the ends
• Pompom
