Sizing can be completely customized through the felting process. Felt more for a smaller slipper and less for a larger, looser fit. Therefore, gauge does not have to be perfect because you can adjust the felting process to change the size of the slipper.

Slipper is made from the bottom up with two strands of yarn held together for thickness and durability. The sole is first, then the sides are added in a contrasting color. Finally top is made as a separate piece and crocheted to the bottom before the slipper is felted as one piece. It is very thick and solid!
