A simple to make poncho / vest with a detachable hood (buttoned on). Great for layering without the bulk. The real bonus of this pattern is there are no stitches to pick up.
Written in an easy to understand way, the most difficult (and it’s not!) part of this pattern is making the button holes - however, they are just done as a yarn over, knit 2 together format - the easiest way to make a button hole.
