A crocheted Octopus Slouchy hat in a child’s size with variegated hues complimentary to the primary & secondary solid colors of the arms. My inspiration for this hat is Natalie Allen-TheTwistedHatter. I completely changed, modified & added to Natalie’s adult pattern by reducing the size, changing the stitch pattern of the sack, creating actual cup-like suckers, adding a more defined/detailed outlining of the arms/brim & vibrant jewel-tone eyes.
The Slouchy part of the hat (sack/mantle) is light-weight and can be filled with a couple of
wadded up plastic grocery bags, stuffing/wadding or your own hair/dreads.
