Kieya Cardi Remix
This can be made with either DK, which keeps it nice & light for Spring & early fall
Or it can also be made with Worsted so it will be nice & warm for winter.
Either way you choose, you can’t lose!
As with most of my patterns, I use a foundation row. I’m not a fan of haggling with long chains & having to worrying about them twisting along the way. It also allows it to stretch, whereas the chain doesn’t.
This pattern is so versatile & is going to be completely your own.
I chose to forego a traditional sizing guide with this one.
Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a free-for-all guessing game. There are measurements, they’re just yours.
Many of us may where the same size, but we’re all built differently & I want this to fit you just right!
At first I was a bit worried about remaking it with worsted. In fear that it was going to be too heavy. While it is a heavier than the DK, I don’t think it’s much heavier than any of my other cardigans.
With having anxiety, I actually like cuddling under the weight on those cold gloomy winter days.
For the Blue Cardi, I used almost 2 whole mandalas. My niece is a woman’s extra small.
For the Cream & tan I used almost 1,600 yrds of Yarn Bee Rustic Romantic & I’m a woman’s medium.
Either of the yarns can be substituted with any DK or Worsted weight of your choosing.
I really hope you have as much fun making this as I did.
Can’t wait to see all of your beautiful make!!
