you have to knit to 40 g are gone - if there are more than 18 stitches - then it’s just more … everyone else knits .. times stronger .. even looser.
It can be also 23 stitches with you … it does not matter … then the middle with 20 g and then again almost everything backwards.

Some may perhaps also kniting with 150 g … then the division 60 - 30 - 60 g

with handspun yarn and needle 4.5 being the widest put 10.5 inch (26 cm)
