I decided to write down and publish this pattern since many of my friends asked for this simple cowl for their children or themselves so I’ve made plenty of them recently.

The Kikka cowl is a simple and quick project suitable for beginners. Easy to knit, this cowl will brighten your day and keep you warm. Small enough to enter into your pocket, high enough to cover your nose! This tiny cowl is worked in the round, smaller than usual needles are used to create a dense fabric.

Recommended yarn: this pattern is a fruit of my love-hate relationship with superwash merino yarns that often grow badly and lose the form after washing. I recommend worsted/aran weight or fingering weight merino held double. If you are using yarn of another origin, DK would work nicely.
