This is a pattern for a cabled wide scarf However, there are instructions contained within the pattern for a stole, (17 inches wide) a shawl (21inches wide), and a narrow scarf, (6 1/2 inches wide) giving you the choice of what you’d like to make.

This scarf is knitted with sport weight yarn. This scarf is approximately 12 inches x 78 inches, but can be altered as stated above, and requires approximately 800 - 1000 yards. The focal cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney.

The scarf is quite warm as it’s created with cable stitches even though it’s knit with sport weight yarn.

The stitches are both charted and written out, however it is always helpful if you can refer to a chart.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
