What’s more fun than knitting little stranded mittens … especially these with their distinctly tribal vibe!
Kilim mittens are worked in the round from wrist to fingertips. The thumb shaping is part welt, part flap for a lovely fit. Thumbs and hands are shaped with a comfortable curve, and Kitchener stitch is used to graft the final remaining hand stitches.
Finished Size: 7” palm circumference, to fit a woman. To modify fit, adjust needle size.
Yarn: Sunday Knits 3 ply (sport weight) in Eden (100% merino), Nirvana (92% merino 8% cashmere), Brigadoon (merino tweed) and Angelic (75% merino 25% angora);

1 50-gm skein each of Nirvana apple for main and Eden fawn for contrasting colors,
and 1 20-gm skein each of Eden in chocolate, violet, sea, lagoon & sage; Angelic in nut; Nirvana in charcoal & moss and Brigadoon in blackish.
Kilim would also be great in two colors:about 200 yds of the main color and 150 yds contrasting color.
