The pattern for this hat came to me in the form of a challenge. A friend of mine, Barb, saw a version of this hat on the show Killing Eve. She wanted this hat, but couldn’t quite figure which of the thousands (?) of cable patterns were being used.
This is my version. I am using a weave cable. It looked the most similar to the one that the character Sandra Oh plays on the show.

The cable pattern is much easier than it looks. Usually, when I see a ‘cable heavy’ pattern, I avoid it, however, this one is fairly straight forward. As I put in the notes, the key for me was using a cable needle that was similar in size to my knitting needle, and then making sure I was knitting the cables loosely.
