About:
When I designed the Kilmeena Cowl—named for the Village of Kilmeena in County Mayo, Ireland—the  color and lace brought to mind the water lapping on the shores of Ballin Lough that borders this small village.

This cowl—with both written and charted directions—has addictive lace in the body and just a bit of ribbing to finish it off.

Designed as a palette cleanser when you need something fun and engaging in your hands, this cowl will give you a project that you can really sink into. The Killmeena cowl is easy enough for a confident beginner knitter but engaging enough for an advanced one.

It is written in one size to be knit in fingering weight yarn for a little something pretty to stave off a chilly day or to give to a dear friend.
