This slouchy hat got its name from Barbara Walker’s description of the Triangular Stitch pattern in A Treasury of Knitting Patterns. When left unblocked, the pattern appears pleated, much like a kilt. This fun hat features a rolled brim with a ribbed border and a medley of stacked triangles. It’s a simple knit for a beginner as the pattern stitch is comprised of shifting knits and purls and is quickly memorized.
