My friend Kim gave me a small skein of his handspun. An unknown wool provided in a spinning class. I would call it a sturdy yarn:)

I started with 3.4 oz and Kim called it a worsted weight.

This is knit back and forth the short way and knits up quickly in this knit and purl zig zag pattern.

The knit and purl pattern is both written and charted.

I love how it stands up and will be so warm on my winter dog walks!
