ONPOKI KINDANIMAL MONKEY DIGITAL PATTERN - CROCHET PATTERN
ONPOKI KINDANIMAL MONKEY DIGITAL PATTERN - CROCHET PATTERN
LEVEL: Beginner - knowledge of basic amigurumi stitches (including magic ring, single crochet, increase, decrease, slip stitch, half double crochet/half treble crochet, double crochet/treble crochet). I will explain you with pictures how to assemble all the pieces, how to do the details on this amigurumi in detail, so you can have fun without stressing out about how to do it.
PDF (printable): 15 pages with very detailed instructions and 76 images to provide visual help for the process.
{On my site www.onpoki.com you can find the section “Techniques” where I explain a little more the techniques I use in the pattern}
The file contains a conversion chart of US / UK Crochet Terms (I’m not using symbols this time!!!). In this pattern I’m using US crochet terms
Size of finished monkey: 11 cm (4 inches) wide and 33 cm (13 inches) tall using Aran weight yarn (AKA medium / 4 / worsted/ afghan) with a 3.0 mm crochet hook (US E/4 - UK-Can 9). You can use any kind of yarn and crochet hook, the only thing it will change is the size of the finished item.
Quantity of yarn (approx):
Main colour: 125 gr
Second colour: 20 gr
If you are going to make eyelashes, you will need almost nothing of black colour yarn.
For these monkeys made with Aran weight yarn I used 10 mm safety eyes.
