Kindred Spirit
There is nothing I like better on a drab winter day than to wrap up in a soft and cozy shawl. Alpaca is one of my very favorite fibers for cold-weather shawls, so when WeCrochet released a brand new alpaca/cotton yarn, Kindred, I knew exactly what it needed to be. Welcome to the Rows & Roses pattern collection Kindred Spirit, a soft and drapey shawl that’s as warm and cuddly as a hug. Using two complementary colors, Kindred is constructed from two crocheted panels, each one the opposite of the other, and seamed together as best friends. Add to that a simple border and some fringe, if you like, and you’ve got one amazing wrap to get you through all the cold days ahead and on into the spring.
