You can make these Cute Beltazaar Christmas decorations in three different sizes All three sizes are included here. I created the large ones first and then decided to make smaller ones for smaller Christmas trees.
They are knitted around ball pool balls and ping pong balls.
I decided that Beltazzaar should look like a byzantine king and this is my knitted interpretation.

Small – 12.5 mm (ping pong/table tennis ball)
Medium – 17 mm (small ball pool ball, mine were from pound shops in net bags of 15.
Large – 20 mm (regular size ball pool ball which I have found in supermarkets and charity shops.)
They are a great way to recycle plastic balls.

For the eyes you can use sew on eyes, beads and sequins or you can embroider the eyes. They are designed as ornaments and not as toys but please consider safety when choosing your eyes and sew all small pieces on securely.
You will need: -

Your choice of ball

Oddments of double knitting yarn flesh and black.
The crown can be anchor metallic artiste gold or King Cole Glitz gold sparkly double knitting
