King Charles Brocade Bed Socks
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Notes: For the pattern stitch to work, you need multiples of 12 stitches. Adjust your needle size to ensure you can work in multiples of 12 stitches and still get a gauge/size that works. I swatched before I did this and based my pattern on the results.
The brocade pattern continues from the cuff, across the instep but not on the sole of the sock, for comfort. These were designed to be a loose fit as the person they were made for has circulation issues.
And if sock math freaks you out like it does me, look for a tutorial on how to figure this out. I used one by Vickie Howell.
I got the brocade stitch pattern here.
I used just over 2 balls of Kroy FX yarn for the pair.
