How exciting it will be to see the crowning of a king, and I was super excited to design the King Charles III Coronation Tea Cosy.

Picture the scene, It’s the May the 6th at Westminster Abbey and everyone is holding their breath, and there he is! King Charles sitting on the coronation throne, being anointed and crowned. I bet he’s dying for a nice cup of tea.

I have dressed the King in the uniform of the Admiral of the Fleet, with all the decoration that entails along with medals and ribbons. I also have knitted him with his crown on, because that’s the exciting part that we all want to see.

The King Charles III Coronation Tea Cosy is a 10 page knitting pattern so it does take quite a lot of time to knit, so it’s good to get started early. The knitting pattern has an accompanying Youtube Help Video which can be found here https://youtu.be/Z0smNehDyew
The project is knitted flat on straight needles and it uses Stylecraft Special DK yarn.
