King Under the Mountain Shawl
Shawl Description:
The King Under the Mountain shawl is an oversized, asymmetrical triangle shawl that decreases down one side. Each chart repeat eliminates one cable, making this a “potato chip knit” - you’ll want to knit “just one more round.”
This shawl was inspired by the armor of Thorin Oakenshield, the King Under the Mountain. All over cables ensure an engaging and rhythmic knit. It’s the coziest armor you’ll ever wear. Whether you’re a fan of The Hobbit or not, I hope this pattern brings you both comfort and courage, like it did for me.
