Kings Canyon
The final hat in the National Park Hats series is Kings Canyon! This hat is another simple yet interesting to knit design. A 4 row pattern repeat makes for easy memorization with enough interest to keep you going. Knit in a bulky weight yarn and big needles with a seamless and clever (if I do say so myself) decrease that is barely noticeable, this hat whips up in just a few hours. Kings Canyon National Park is the last of our California parks to get a hat and I am not sad I saved it for last. Often grouped together with Sequoia National Park and Yosemite, it is known for its breathtaking mountain peaks and stunning vistas. The color for this month’s hat was inspired by a view I saw of the Rae Lakes Trail inside the park. I hope you enjoy knitting the Kings Canyon National Park hat!
