This listing is for the original Olann knitting pattern of the Kinnego Cable Knit Hat with Pompom.

This is an intermediate level knitting pattern that uses cabling, as well as knit and purl stitches, to create this timeless design.

Knit in the round on circular needles, the pattern works up quite quickly and looks amazing when you use a crisp bulky weight yarn to achieve excellent stitch definition. The sizing given is suitable for most adult sized heads.

Knit using approximately 136m / 150 yards of Bulky weight yarn, you can choose your favourite to knit this gorgeous design.

You’ll need 16” circular needles in 5mm (US size 8) and 6.5mm (US size 10.5), DPNs in the larger needle size, as well as stitch markers and a darning needle to complete this design. I added a Bernat Faux Fur pompom to the top of my hat, but this design look great with our without a fuzzy topper!
