So I have a minor Kirby problem, and it involves his hats. THEY’RE TOO ADORABLE. Seriously.

To address this issue, I have created patterns for a Kirby, plus his Pikachu hat, plus his Mario hat (which could just as easily be a Luigi hat). You can make them for free, and then you can design more hats for him! And you can post your hat pattern on your blog / site! And I will link to your site from my site! And Kirby will have so many hats!

To make Kirby, you need an F hook; pink yarn and red yarn; and scraps of felt in white, black, and blue. I also recommend having fabric glue, but if you dig sewing, you can sew the felt features in place. (Personally, I don’t dig sewing. I dig hats.)

The last extra you’ll need is a way to blush up his cheeks. I used chalks. You could use chalks, fabric markers, or even acrylic paint. (You’ll need one of the same things in black or dark gray for the Pikachu hat, if you’re going to make it - and please tell me you’re going to make it! Because SO CUTE!)

As you can see from the pics, I love mad / attacking Kirby, but you can make your Kirby with whatever expression you like best. Like the mad face. Or the cute face. Or the mad one. ;)
