Kirin is a mythical creature. This is my version of a kirin, a deer unicorn. Kirin is 7 inches tall from head to hoof, not counting antlers and horn. If you use an F hook and small yarn, kirin will be 6 inches tall, not counting antlers and horn. Use Medium 4 yarn for the kirin. If you want a smaller kirin, use an F hook and small thin yarn like Simply Soft.

Kirin’s legs and tail can be posed if you choose to put pipe cleaners in them. You also have the choice of your kirin having spots like a fawn or not.

Pattern is not too hard to follow and includes photos of finished product. Pattern is 8 pages long. This pattern is worked in continuous rounds, so do not join rounds. You will need to know how to increase and decrease.
