Kirsibaum
This pattern is part of my ‘over mossy stones…’ e-book, featuring 9 designs.
Kirsibaum means Cherry Tree in my native Swiss German dialect. The woven slip stitch pattern on the cowl evokes the striated markings characteristic for the bark of cherry trees. Although the pattern mimics the bark, I would compare the feel of the fabric more to cherry blossoms, it’s so soft and delicate!
