Kirsipirukas (Cherry Pie) features: toe-up construction, custom foot length, rounded toe, Kihnu type heel (aka. Dutch heel, modified square), traditional Estonian stitches, traditional Swedish Fair Isle motif, and 3 leg lengths, anklet, shortie, or crew.

SIZE | Small (Medium, Large)
Choose sock size based on the circumference at widest part of the ball of your foot while standing: ~ 8 (9, 10) inches; ~ 20 (23, 25) cm. Total stitches: foot: 56 (60, 68); leg: 66 (72, 78). Finished sock foot circumference unstretched about ~6.5 (7.0, 8.0) inches. As written, finished sock will have about; ~18 (21, 20) % negative ease.

GAUGE |Stockinette and Fair Isle in round: ~8.5 sts, 11.5 rnds per inch (~34 sts/46 rnds per 10 cm. If your stitch gauge has 1 or more fewer or more stitches, consider adjust needle or pattern size for your gauge per inch or cm.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS
Yarn |Base color ~1 skein Fingering Weight yarn (needed to guarantee completing a pair of full length socks not actual amount of skein used), ~15 WPI, 400-460 yds/100g. Smaller amounts of yarn in other colors were and can be used for I-cord and Fair Isle motif, and ribbing. The amount needed for complementary colored yarn was not measured. Sample: Plucky Knitter, 459yds-420 m/ 100g, 80/20 % merino/nylon and various lengths of leftover yarn.

Needles | 2.5 mm, 24 inch circular needle. Pattern can be worked using 2 circular or double-point needles modifying directions for needle type.

Notions |at least 2 stitch markers (safety pins will work), flat ruler, tape measure for curve of foot, and darning needle.
