This single skein lace shawl, with optional beading, is based on Helen’s winning sweater from Kirsty’s Handmade Christmas and is a collaboration between Helen of Connington Knits and Michelle from Banshee Yarns.
The directions are provided in both written and chart form.
The shawl appears complex but is based on a series of straightforward repeats that give it a beautiful effect.
Note: The shawl picture includes one additional panel as it was the initial design. The panel was removed to ensure the shawl could be knit out of a single skein of Banshee Yarns Cashmere Lace (lace weight, 800m).
Update October 2020: Updated the written instructions for Chart 1, line 41. (yo,k1), updated to being (yo, k1) three times,.
