Description: Kismet; circumstance; destiny; fate. These socks came about in just that way, and from these socks, other ideas have unfolded. The Kismet DK socks are a beautifully textured sock. This texture, I find, pairs particularly well with one strand of a brushed lace weight yarn with one strand of sock yarn for a remarkable finish.

Method: knitting

Skill Level: intermediate

Yarn: 100 g fingering weight sock yarn and 50 g of suri lace, though mohair would work as well.

Approx. Gauge: 22 sts and 36 rows for 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) in motif pattern
