Kiss a Frog
This pattern is included in Joyful Colorwork Socks: 25 New Knitting Patterns for Fun & Whimsical Footwear Featuring Pets, Games, Food, Hobbies & More which was published in November 2024.
Even if the thought of frogs makes you feel a bit squeamish, who
doesn’t adore these cute, happy froggie faces all over these socks? Many knitters are enjoying the knitted frog/toad trend that is currently occurring all over social media, so why not have a pair of adorable socks to match!
These socks are knit from the top down. They have a simple-to-knit frog face motif that starts from the top of the leg and repeats throughout the foot. The socks start with a ribbed cuff and feature a short row heel. Stitches are decreased for the toe and then grafted together.
