Kiss Kiss Lace Lace Socks
This design was inspired by the stunning colorway “Kiss Me @ Midnight” created by Susan of Desert Vista Dyeworks. The vibrant shades of pinks mingling with bands of black had me picturing a girl on Valentine’s Day wearing hot pink lipstick and black fish net stockings. This girl needed some socks!
I created this pattern with the intention of providing a thoroughly detailed pattern for beginners and an entertaining knit for intermediate knitters. The pattern is broken into 3 separate 9 page PDFs (one for each size) for your convenience. A thoroughly detailed Tutorial PDF is included as a 4th PDF, which includes 7 pages of picture tutorials, written tutorials, and links to exclusive video tutorials to help guide any ‘new to socks’ knitter through the pattern. A very thorough ‘true’ Afterthought Heel tutorial is included within this PDF.
The pattern includes 3 different sizes for the socks, charted and written directions, and a detailed Tutorial PDF. Trust me when I say - if you ever wanted to learn how to knit socks (or even an afterthought heel alone), this is the pattern for you!
