Kiss The Teacher
This pattern has been discontinued.
I recently found myself with two extra skeins of We Are Knitters Pima Cotton and having just learned the Navajo plying technique, I decided I needed a quick-knit chunky scarf. This pattern is easily adjustable to make any size triangle scarf, simply keep increasing until it is the width you want and half the length you want, then start decreasing. The tassels add a bit of length and a fun touch to the scarf. The story behind the name gives a bit of insight into my jumbled thought process: I wanted a cute creative name > it’s a triangle scarf > “geometry” > ‘nah that’s not so original, there’s loads of patterns called “geometry”’ > as I kept saying “geometry” I started to sing the lyric “she was trying to explain the laws of gee-om-eh-treeeee” from the ABBA song “when I kissed the teacher” > kiss the teacher. Yes, I was working on this scarf while listening to the Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again soundtrack.
