Kiss Your Fanny
This chair pad comes out 16” wide X 20” deep if the gauge is matched perfectly. Row count may be varied with need. Size may be adjusted either by using different yarns or by crocheting around the finished pad. Crocheting is taught in the video.
Kiss Rug Rake with 20 pegs.
.75 stitches/2 rows per inch or 3 stitches/8 rows/4” or 10 cm
Use the Kiss U stitch for most of the project plus slip and purl stitches where called for. “slip” means: don’t wrap and don’t knit the peg. Seed stitch is used at the edges. It is a combination of knit and purl stitches that alternate both across the work and up the work. The result is to halt the rolling of the edges. 3 strands of #5 yarn are run along together and treated as a single yarn. You may experiment with different yarn combos to match the gauge. Some #6 and #7 weight yarns may match single stranded. Some #6 yarns will match the gauge double stranded. You may also use multiple strands of the commonly available #4 yarns.
There is a youtube video on my channel, theanswerladyknits, to help you with this project.
