Kissani is striped scarf with keyhole and fringe. Chihiro and Lasse of mominoki yarn, they went to Finland and dyed Finnish wool with local plants. The non-superwash yarn has rustic fuzz, a pleasant scent of natural wool, which gives a nice stitch definition. She sent me that lovely yarns. Those yarns coincidentally had the same color as my cat coat. So I made the scarf named Kissani - my cat in Finnish - and little pouch named Pochi.

Kissaniは通し穴とフリンジ付き、ストライプ柄のミニマフラーです。mominoki yarnの千尋さんから届いたフィンウール。それはmominoki yarnのお二人がフィンランドに滞在された時に、その土地の毛糸と植物を使って染められたものでした。防縮加工はせずに丁寧に紡がれた毛糸にはナチュラルな羊毛の香りがほのかに残り、細かな毛羽立ちが愛らしい、模様編みがよく映える糸です。草木染めの優しい色は、偶然にもうちの猫の毛色とお揃いのような色合いでした。そこで、このスカーフにはフィンランド語で「うちの猫」を意味する「Kissani」という名前を付けて、お揃いの編み地でぽち袋サイズの小物入れ「Pochi」を作りました。
