This is a pattern for Kit, including the body and his sweater.

Finished, Kit measures about 25cm tall and about 20cm fingertip to fingertip.

The pattern uses 8-ply yarn, 3.25mm needles (5x DPNs) and 2.75mm needles.

The body is knitted mainly in-the-round, except for the head. The sweater is knitted in flat panels. All pieces are then assembled according to the instructions. Photographs of key pieces and the seam-stitching method have been included.

There are no suggested brands of yarn for this pattern. Head to your favourite yarn store and buy according to colour. You might even be able to make it with scraps you have at home. You will need:
