Kitchen Dishcloth ~ Arrow Stripe
The dishcloth measures 8” x 8”.
The Arrow Stripe dishcloth pattern started out to be a stitch gauge for a pair of fingerless gloves. One afternoon a fellow knitter and I were looking through stitch pattern books at our local yarn shop. Admiring this particular stitch pattern she asked me to design a pair of fingerless gloves with the arrow stripe design running across the back of her hand. A few days later while knitting up the stitch gauge I was asked if it was going to be my next dishcloth pattern design. I replied, “Sure”. I am really glad I did; I think it’s quite pretty. Measures 8″x8″. Materials I used - Reynolds/Saucy; 100% Mercerized Cotton. Color - #308/Pink – 1 skein. Size US5 (3.75mm) knitting needles. Gauge - 20sts/4″ in the stitch pattern.
Enjoy ~
