This simple pattern is suitable for those who are completely new to Tunisian crochet, but assumes familiarity with the basics of regular crochet. Tunisian simple and purl stitches are alternated to create the honeycomb stitch, a dense and textured fabric which does not curl on the edges. Instructions are given to make either a napkin (fingering weight) or a dishcloth (worsted weight) in this beautiful stitch. You will need a Tunisian crochet hook and 100% cotton yarn. There are links in the pattern to instructional videos, for both beginners and those who simply need a quick demonstration of purl stitch. These dishcloths and napkins are a great beginner project and you will be a master of Tunisian purl stitch by the end.
