This lovely, reversible shawl is perfect for using up those lone skeins of fingering. The long, narrow “kite” shape knits up in a lofty garter stitch and can be worn a number of ways.
Kite can be made larger by simply repeating the increase rows. Keep in mind however, the yardage will then increase for each color.
Main colors require 340 yds / 311 m of fingering weight yarn in each color (Shown in JaggerSpun Heather in Charcoal and Smoke).
Contrasting Stripe: I recommend using scrap yarn - 25 yards of fingering. (Shown in Rowan Fine Tweed
Color: Leyburn).
