Kite Bandana
For the Kite Bandana, we were inspired by the sassy little silk neckerchiefs that are so popular these days and that top off your outfits with some neat stripes.
For more depth and textural interest we worked the stripes alternating shiny einrúm PURE silk yarn and einrúm LAMB wool/silk yarn, but you can use most light fingering weight scraps of yarn for your stripes.
The bandana is worked from the outer edge towards the centre. After a provisional cast-on and a tubular edge worked back and forth, you then join for working in the round in stocking stitch. Decreasing at the four corners in a particular rhythm creates a diamond shape.
