Modern Daily Knitting Field Guide No. 16: Painterly is full of Kaffe Fassett’s genius Intarsia designs, worked up in a beloved yarn.

Triangles. That’s all. But in the hands of Kaffe Fassett, these simple shapes combine for an astonishing effect. They tumble and turn, and the colors come and go in a rhythm that enchants us. This effect can be created only with intarsia—having multiple strands of yarn at work at the same time. With 15 colors of Rowan Felted Tweed in this design, this is a kaleidoscopic dream.

You can get the full kit for these tasty little projects right here!
