This cardigan is for 18” dolls such as American Girl, Maplelea, and Our Generation.

It is knit using both circular and double pointed needles, and is worked from the top down. It features a cable on either side, but you can choose not to include those.

The cardigan should fit any type of 18” doll, but if you make it for a doll with longer arms, such as Maplelea, you may want to add a few rounds to the arms.

(note: in the photo, Kit is wearing a dress that has bows on the sleeves, which is why the sweater has a bump on either side. the sleeves will lie flat over most other shirts and dresses.)
