Perfect for re-usable Easter Egg hunts!

This pattern has 3 sizes: small, medium and large. Finished eggs are approximately:
Small: 8cm/3 inches tall by 4.5cm/1.8 inches wide
Medium: 9cm/3.5 inches tall by 5.5cm/2 inches wide
Large: 11cm/4.3 inches tall by 8cm/3 inches wide

Medium egg: the pattern is 462 stitches for the main body of the egg, with two ears that are 32 stitches each, and a tail that is 84 stitches. This pattern is perfect for beginners or will work up quickly for more advanced users.

The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Stitches included: chain, magic ring, single crochet, single crochet increase, single crochet decrease

Tools needed:
Any yarn can be used. In the photos I used Caron® Simply Soft® Yarn, medium weight 4
Any crochet hooks can be used. The patterns use two sizes of crochet hooks, but this is optional. In the photos I used sizes G/6 4.00mm and D/3 3.00mm
Scissors
Needle
Fiberfill for stuffing
Embroidery floss (optional)
8-10mm safety eyes and 1011mm safety nose (optional)
Note that if a toy is being created for a child under the age of 3 years, please do not use safety eyes or noses.
