Who remembers the story of the three little kittens who lost their mittens? With these charming pink mittens, you will never lose nor soil them! (But if you do, just wash those mittens, they’ll be good as new!)

Cute brown kittens wearing a pink bow adorn these fair isle mittens. A built-in eyelet row lets you lace and tie an i-cord bow around the wrist for a saccharine touch!

I developed this pattern using traditional Nordic and Scandinavian knitting techniques, then added my own twist.

These are a size women’s medium or a men’s small. There is plenty of room within the mittens to also wear gloves, for those of you who need to double up.

For larger or smaller mittens, I recommend going up or down in needle size first before subbing out a heavier or lighter yarn weight.

Gauge:
33 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch knit in charted pattern.
