Size: EU 33-35, US 2-3.5
Sample socks in the picture are size EU 33/ US 1.5.
The circumference of the leg is approximately 23cm/ 9 in.

Gauge: Coloured knitting 12st=5cm (approx. 2 in), Stockinette stitch 11st=5cm (approx. 2 in)

Needles: The ribbing in the sample socks is knitted with 2.5mm/US 1.5 needles, otherwise 3mm/US 2.5. Alternatively, you can use the needle size needed to obtain the gauge. The recommended needle size for aran weight yarn is 3.5mm-4mm/US 4-6.

Yarn: Any Aran weight yarn (approx. 200m/100g). The sample socks in the picture were made using Novita 7 Brothers: White, Sunflower, Graphite, Stone and Black.

Note: The dark gray parts, the cat’s eyes and nose, as well as the heart on the instep, are made afterwards by duplicating stitches.
