Easy peasy hat, great for beginners! Worked in the ‘sack hat’ style, this kitty-eared hat is made with a stretchy brim worked as you go.

I’ve included instructions for a fold-over brim for extra warmth, or a sleeker version where the hat brim is flat.

To add extra pizzazz to your cat hat, I’ve also included a pattern for the front patch, and nine cross-stitch charts for simple embroidery. Plus, a few empty grids, in case you want to design your own!

Works up easily with weight 4 yarn and a size I hook for the hat, plus a size D hook for the front patch.
