This is a knitted baby hat pattern with knitted kitty ears. Size options are Late Preterm, Newborn-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-3 years (however there are measurements included for most accuracy).

This pattern uses worsted weight yarn, preferably as soft as you feel comfortable having a baby wear. Likely 1 skein or less of a 50 g skein.

The hat and two ears are knitted separately. You can sew the ears on as you wish, even adding a piece of felt or interfacing for added sturdiness!
