2. This pattern is written in US terminology for the right handed crocheter

4. This pattern includes sizes: a. X-Small- toddler b. Small: child c. Medium: teen/ small adult d. Large: adult
5. Chains at beginning of rows do not count in stitch count
6. Stiches located within brackets will be repeated by X number directly after bracket
7. Gauge: a. Using size “G” (4.25 MM) hook: 18 HDC sts X 12 HDC rows = 4” X 4” b. Using size “H” (5.00 MM) hook: 16 HDC sts X 11 HDC rows = 4” X 4”
8. Each pattern size works up larger than the average head to fully cover the ears (and ponytails) and still maintain proper shape
9. Numbers in parenthesis are total number of sts you’ll make for each round
10. Wash finished product in luke-warm or cold water and tumble dry on low heat or lay out flat to dry
