This pattern can be altered into other bird if you’d like! Perhaps a ducky or an owl! The instructions are just for a kiwi bird though! It doesn’t take very much yarn and the FO is kinda small (if you used worsted yarn). Minimal sewing and I’d say the pattern is beginner friendly! :)

Materials
I used worsted/aran/4 weight yarn. However, this pattern would work with any size of yarn. I’d suggest going down in a hook size though (I used a 4.5mm hook).

• Body: brown yarn
• Beak: scrap amounts of yellow yarn
• Feet: scrap amount of dark brown yarn
• Eyes: white and black felt OR safety eyes OR scrap amounts of black yarn
• Stuffing

• Scissors
• Darning/sewing needle
• Crochet hook; one size down from the hook size your yarn suggests
• Stitch markers
